A co-founder of the Extinction Rebellion (XR) movement has called for the mass ingestion of psychedelic substances in protest against the criminalisation of drugs.

Gail Bradbrook, who led the protests that brought central London to a standstill earlier this year, backed “mass civil disobedience” where participants took drugs to challenge the status quo.
